Thread regarding CVS layoffs

No severance?

Ther will be no severance. I was offered the option of quitting voluntatily or they would find a reason to fire mea after 30 plus years.

Is this possible? Are they really stooping so low that they are not even offering severance to people they are letting go? Is this even legal? Shouldn't they have some grounds for firing before threatening it?

Larry Merlo and his mafia goons at it again. I can't believe investors still buy into his smoke ans mirrors deception. He is a sh-- salesman with a mouthful of samples.

Any guesses on his salary for this year?

If they are threatening to find a way to fire you if you don’t quit. File a claim with hr for hostile work environment and also with EEOC commission.

They are the sneakiest company I have ever seen. They have DM’s and LP reps who make up things just to get rid of managers or supervisors a they don’t like. And they have done it for years. Horrible work practices.

If you quit you won't be eligible to get unemployment compensation. That's why they are trying to get you to leave on your own. See if you can get some proof that they are coercing people to quit, that could come in handy in court.
