Aruba hates being a part of HPE. The fact that they got a bonus is a joke. VPs have no clue once again.
@QwFn8Cc-3nta - Their security people are a joke - REALLY - cos we just sold off the HPE security team for spareparts, and are putting Aruba front and center for Security, and as for HPE sales push their product - jesus, they cant sell without tripping over their own underwear - we have to carry the EG lunch brigade to the PO

Seems to check out
Aruba is "of the moment"
Yup, Saw the same happen with other HP acquisitions. HP buys them, scales down R&D, milks it until it's no longer competitive. Aruba will have its day in the sun, until it doesn't.
What will HPE do when it runs out of money to buy profitable companies?
Aruba is "of the moment" - they found a niche which is why they were bought by HPE. Their competition have woken up again and we be on a strategy to just bloody kill them.
If they get a bonus next year they will be lucky - the same fate awaits them with WFRs and questioning what happened to the good times.
There is nothing bad or wrong about the Old Timers. They show up every day! And they really care about our customers. So, f off you millennials. Be a sport, like Meg! Good Luck to All!
My point is that its incorrect to say "No one in the company gets bonuses". Simple.
As far as Aruba they don't produce on their own. Their security people are a joke and HPE sales push their product. They don't exist in a vacuum.
Last year HPI had some of the best bonuses in a long time. Wonder how they're doing this year.
@QwFn8Cc-1ade - well said.
Seriously with the old timer entitlement comment. Let's don't forget it's these "old timers" that have put their blood sweat and tears into a company who in the end doesn't give a crap about them or their contributions. You must be one of the kindergarteners that are over taking the offices these days. Anyone who defends what is going on at this company clearly has no idea what the hell they are talking about.
The day of reckoning arrives for everyone. In the old days they used to say the same thing about Printing Group. It was the darling of the company and they would pay them more bonus than the rest of the company. Today Aruba may be basking in the sunshine, but time will tell for how long. Cisco is a sleeping giant and right now Aruba is munching away from Cisco's lunch plate. But when Cisco giant wakes up, which is bound to happen in 2018, they will be unstoppable. So, let us have this discussion again same time next year (that is if some of us are still interested and visiting this blog site a year from now)
working on products no one wants
Indeed, except Aruba, no one wants any other HPE product. So that's the point - everyone except Aruba employees should leave before the ship sinks.
And your point is what? You get bonuses for achieving something beyond the norm and working in a thriving business, not working on products no one wants. Typical old timer entitlement attitude.
