Why is Dollar General activity recruiting our staff ?

Wife works there - they pay bad and their scheduling s---s. At least here in Santa Ana
Because they run the same Business motto “screw the employee” they know Cvs staff is use to being abused!
The two most recent stores that switched locations, the old buildings switched to Dollar Generals. This has led me to believe that CVS is essentially Just an overpriced Dollar General with an overpriced pharmacy in the back.
The timing and calling the store and referenced coming layoffs , was new!
Dollar General, family dollar, etc., are always actively recruiting over here, bed bath and beyond, ross, etc.
