Wasn't NOLA chosen a hub when they announced the hub strategy exactly one year ago? You can see DT has no strategy at all.

@2djw It's basically what I posted in another thread, but "about 20". Morale is in the crapper, nobody is happy with how leadership (I use that term extremely loosely) executed anything. Fowler's email made it sound like there were plenty more rounds of this to come.
Also, NOLA is apparently no longer a focus for being a hub. They're not closing it immediately, but they're not growing it either. Leadership was very specific about not allowing remote workers, which paves the way for them to make future moves to close the site and lay off everyone there.
How many ? Which teams ?
Not good, layoffs happening today in NOLA.
Morale-wise it's not really that bad (yet). Yeah, a lot of people are leaving, but in accordance with NOLA's "small town" vibe many are staying in the city, and we'll all see each other at hack night or NOLASEC anyway. A few of the Predix guys are being pretty negative and whining a lot, but so long as they keep to themselves and leave the rest of us alone -- which they do, for the most part -- it doesn't affect the rest of us.
Personally, neither me nor my group have heard anything about layoffs (yet).
The real morale-killer isn't a RIF, it's the damned coffee situation.
