It would be really nice if we had at least some say in what our schedules are going to be.
Managers don't care about our private life and don't give us an option to make any plans. They will schedule us the way they want to, even if we announce that we can't do certain hours for whatever reason.
It is unnecessarily rigid and leaves little room for life outside of work.
I'm wondering if this is strictly my location or is it the same in other places? Anybody else has these issues?
I'm sorry you guys experience this in your stores. Our store had a lot of input when it came to schedules and now that our region is trying to adhere to 70% efficiency the quality of our schedules are horrible. Leaving it up to the computer has my store with gaps of no coverage and management in at weird times. (I'm a CSM). I'm working a 8am-7pm shift on a sunday. Really?
Worst company to work for. Management are useless and belittle their employees. You can buy company and try to increase sale but you will fail. You kept incompetent people who are lazy and don’t want to work.
We have the same issue at our location. Most often than not, we don't know our schedule for the next week until Friday or Saturday. Also, schedule changes every week.
