Yet another dead end for Juniper. Nokia dodged a bullet. Can you blame them? As for Juniper...
Nothing good is in the pipeline. Nothing good is on the backburner. No products. The leadership sücks. People are demoralized. Execution is poor. Sales across the board are going down. Margins are out of control. Juniper will end up like NCR, back in the day.
Who in their right mind would want to buy this shi!hole?
Jeff McCracken and Anita Balakrishnan from CNBC were both taken for spin by “ the people, who asked not to be named because the discussions are private”.
What a bunch of hogwash... this smells like a failed attempt to make the stock jump by the crooked execs who were recently booted. Looking for that payday as they depart into the sunset. I hope this crap gets investigated and these crackpots are publicly shamed. Just goes to show the incompetence within Juniper’s marketing and comms team. Rami should fire the CMO and his entire marketing comms team for letting this crap go on.
From another thread...
"Good products, good earnings, good margins, good execs and good execution helps to build a stock price up over time.
Good rumors makes it jump over a short time."
Couldn't be more true. Amazing how the market reacts to a good rumor. Fake news from Russia?
Stock is almost back to the sh!thole levels again after Nokia issued a statement denying this rumor. Nokia probably wanted to say, we made that mistake once buying ALU, not again. :)
Rami too says keep your nose clean and keep working. Create more sh--.
Bottom line is, Juniper s---s. Everything Juniper makes s---s and has sales dwindling down across the board. Working at Juniper s---s, most of the leadership is incompetent and they are twiddling their thumbs.
The future is not bright for JNPR, or it's investors but it is for Pradeep's wallet as Fungible will be rolled in for a few hundred million soon.
The clear winner will be PS, his family and friends.
Everything Juniper makes will die a slow death.
As for the Nokia news, it's good the stock took a turn because everyone that got booted and had stock has a chance to make a lot more on the way out. In fact the rumors probably originated there.
Why would Nokia or anyone with half a mind buy Juniper? I could actually cater, to some extent, to the bong-hitter on this site who said Cisco is in talks - but if Cisco would be interested then it would be for Contrail not security. Contrail is NOT Junos based and with proper marketing, licensing and sales insights can give all other SDN products a run for their money. Do not see Cisco or anyone else with half a brain buying Junos based crap SRX's though - SRXs are great routers but a joke when it comes to security. SRx's , IMHO, are due to die a painful dusty death.
fake news!!! Believe me this company is worth nothing. I would buy it for more than there cash assets.
