Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Can we get back to actual WFR posts instead of Megtonio dramas?

I have not heard of any WFR on the Monday after Thanksgiving. I expect Megtonio to not WFR anyone until mid-January, just before Q1 ends. For now, Megtonio and their Megnions are having a party at HPE Discover spending millions for 3 days this week. They can party but we cannot not even enjoy shopping or think of a nice Christmas vacation because of the WFR potential.

Will be interesting to see. One thing is certain, HPE isn't building that new NW Houston campus with the current headcount. Expect ~15% more cuts.

Was this HPE in UK only or was it Micro Focus HPE?

There were actually 100+ of WFRs after Turkey Day! Consider it an early Christmas gift, along with that big performance bonus those fortunate to stay rec'd - $0!

I’m already stressed out about that second week of January. Historically, it has been a bloodbath (at least in the last few years).

Right now between WFR's, people are just whistling past the graveyard. They know they are coming, but now is the time to enjoy the Holiday closure. The die apparently is already cast, just waiting for the shoe to drop. Best of luck.
