I know I'm not the only one noticing the huge turnover we've been having lately.
I started a few years ago, and within a year my group had half of it people gone. Not exaggerating, half of them (and I am not talking call centers). Not that First Data minds. They've done nothing in the years I've been here to try and slow the bleed. Can't really wrap my head around this.
What they did do is capitalize on fewer workers to get smaller offices. We've moved to smaller space two times in the past three years, each time having more people added into smaller square footage.
Is this our entire business plan? Drive people out and reduce costs by getting smaller offices the remaining staff will be crammed into? Wow, we must have a bunch of geniuses running First Data!
