bureaucracy at caterpillar is completely ridiculous...
finishing one simple task requires so many steps it probably doubles or even triples the time it would take without so much unnecessary red tape... it's costing us both in time and money...
and it's even getting worse with time, instead of the other way around...
i guess it goes hand in hand with our bloated upper management... we could skip layoffs altogether if we trimmed that part a little bit... they eat up the money and do nothing for the company...
and they keep coming up with the silliest titles they believe make them sound important... because having ten words in title will cover up the fact they are completely useless...
