The top 1% are where they are at because they use politics (regulations, degrees, credentials, and licenses)… Politically-backed barriers in general… To keep us peons from competing with them. See…

Have you figured out how to save/invest 50% of your own income? There's the easiest way to rise up the ladder. Have you figured out how to supplement income with passive income? There's the second easiest way to rise up the ladder.

Who said anything about taxing them into oblivion?

I'd just like to be allowed to compete fairly with them, without them running and crying to the politicians, for special protections.

Case in point: 600-dollar Epi-pen injectors of about 5 dollars worth of content, but a Senator's daughter was the CEO of "Mylan" drug company, as I recall. So, surprise, surprise, the FDA just could NOT see fit to find ANYONE else suitable for manufacturing and marketing a less-expensive alternate. The FDA turned down MANY potential competitors.

This is just ONE of many cases of "welfare for the plutocrats", and it does NOT always have to do with taxes... It has to do with government ladling out special favors for special people.

Tax the top 1% into oblivion and let those too dumb to rise to the top 1% have all that money. See where that gets you...
