I'm assuming this is changing over time and double time. Different pay period means holiday day off could be changed too.

Yes it's true. A global email was sent out Nov. 20th to all AlticeUSA employess. ATS did not receive this email. Perhaps ATS will receive something similar soon.

Unifying Altice USA Employee Programs and Policies

During the last year, we have been focused on establishing one simple employee experience across our entire footprint and creating consistency in the programs and practices we provide to our employees, ensuring that we are competitive in our offerings. As we approach 2018, we are pleased to announce the harmonization and integration for the vast majority of our HR programs and policies, which will ensure all of our employees have the same benefits and practices available to them.

While in the upcoming days and weeks you will have an opportunity to learn more about each of the below items, I want to provide everyone with a few highlights.

  • Standard Pay Periods / Bonus Pay Periods:

Today, we have various pay periods across the country, which is inconsistent for employees and adds complexity to our internal systems and processes. Beginning December 16th, the Altice USA work week pay period will be standardized from Saturday to Friday with a biweekly pay date occurring on Fridays. The first pay date based on this new schedule will be January 5, 2018. This will be new for Altice North (legacy Cablevision) employees and remains unchanged for Altice South (legacy Suddenlink) employees. More information will be distributed to Altice North employees in the coming days. Also, as previously communicated, all eligible employees who receive annual performance-based bonuses will receive their 2017 bonus payment in March 2018.

  • New Timekeeping System:

Beginning mid-December, timed with the standardization of the Altice USA pay period, all Altice USA employees will keep track of hours worked and paid time off through one unified time-keeping system: PeopleSoft Time and Labor. This means that Altice North employees will no longer use eTime and Altice South employees will no longer use Time Entry. More information, including demo videos, tutorials and webinar educational sessions, will be shared in early December to help you get familiar with the new, enhanced system, which will be a more efficient and effective solution for all of us.

  • Paid Time Off:

Last year, we shared with you our plans to transition to one single paid time off program in 2018, and began the process of equalizing the Altice North and Altice South programs. We know it’s important for employees to have flexible time off options that allow everyone to re-charge, relax and focus on our lives away from work. Our new consistent Altice USA Paid Time Off Program, which is effective January 1, 2018, does just that. There are certain changes to the time allocation and accrual aspects of the program and no one will see a reduction in the number of vacation and personal days they currently have. All employees will receive an additional communication later today that outlines how the new policy applies to them. We encourage all employees to familiarize themselves with the program.

  • Volunteer Day:

We are pleased to make available companywide the Altice USA Volunteer Day Program. This program provides eligible employees with one paid day off per year to volunteer and make a difference by supporting the communities where we live and work. While this policy was available to Altice North employees previously, we are pleased that it also now will be available for our Altice South colleagues for 2018. To learn more, visit myAltice.

I believe they are switching to the Suddenlink pay date which was on Fridays biweekly. They have also been having issues not paying their employees properly again. Vacation and sick time has been completely reset for ATS employees so accrued time has disappeared. Also, if you have a FSA account thru benefits they over charged you severely and do not know whenorbif you will get your money back.
