They're priming us for the potential CBS merger. They're eliminating all redundancies. We don't need several different teams that do research, analytics, marketing etc. Layoffs are less than 16 days away.

they started around us this week. Very well dressed and they don't look at you. Most conversations behind closed doors.

it's totally a layoff situation. we can't support our old lifestyle and don't offer any value outside of Nick and a little bit of Comedy. Disney and Netflix are monsters. Other TV competitors are all owned by cable providers or about to be. no no no

its to stave off viacom becoming the next weinstein company

why do you think they are pushing openline and anonymous reporting

why do you think some hr execs are quitting

because when the stories blow they will knock you out

Dear Consultants - if you're reading this please do 360 reviews on upper management - SVP to C-suite. Ask the worker bees who truly s---s and who is stellar. There is a simmering silence on the bad ones and they (ineffective, not experienced execs) usually know the right person to stay. It's baffling and so unfortunate. I know this is in every corporation, but this problem has stifled Viacom for years.

Not sure but McKinsey is here and they're interviewing people. Apparently there is another consultant group working here as well. When they call the consultants you know change is coming.
