single most important reason for juniper to fail

Resource allocation. Very few people end up doing the most of the work. other people just come to work spending most of their time in discussing about family/pets/vacations or blowing 2 hours in gym , 2 hr lunch breaks etc, unbelieveable.

but when it comes to promotions only the connected ones get it. Culture in enguneering is morally bankrupt. really sad.

politicians have hijacked the company.

Totally agree! Someone inexplicably promoted to a Senior Manager position early 2017 in EMEA without ANY previous man-management experience started off by bullying people around, offering them privileges in exchange of loyalty and when shocked personnel reeled from that message, started to threaten them with putting their name on “a list”. When internal management were informed they did nothing. The same manager is fudging numbers, was rejected and complained against by at least a couple of large partners, thought AppDynamics was an orchestration tool for Cisco’s SDWAN and struggled to construct a single sentence in correct English. After two layoffs he is still going strong. Juniper values at full blast!

Completely agree! Hiring friends , family and relatives is least of a problem, but then ensuring their success and growth by any means is what's creating a horrible toxic environment.

The shenanigans played for them are too disgusting for any decent person to tolerate. Gangster like behavior is routine and mostly the gangs are on racial and ethnic lines. Those in power ensure awards, bonuses and promotions for thier people who are mostly part of thier gangs.

There is an immediate and brutal retaliation against anyone who complainsays or reports.

Knowing and owning your boss or other powerfull people can be amazingly rewarding.

This place is done....stick a fork in em!
