The real change and cost savings should start from the top, not the bottom! Stop blaming the little guys.... they were just executing on failed and frequently changed strategy. Bringing "big shots" from google, msft, apple, oracle, etc. and paying them extremely high salaries will NOT fix the issues. History shows that it will actually makes it worse! They cannot and will not safe ge digital.
Exactly, @QaEEzwH-1mza. Layoffs always end up affecting people who had the least to do with decisions that put the company in the precarious position. Not to mention that getting rid of one person from senior management would equal saving the same amount as cutting at least ten of the regular employees. But that never happens. They only get raises and huge bonuses to make sure they stay with the company.
