Dell is the damaging the startup culture at CPSD as well by using their axe of layoffs. It is really frustrating. Do you think innovation can happen when sword of layoffs is hanging? Innovation requires ability to take lot of risk. Who will take risk when all your actions will be judged upon basis of value addition?

Any rumors regarding eCDM, DPC and IDPA. Those are recent development projects in the data protection space. They seem to be growing.
When you have 50 to 100 people laid off daily right now with over 5,000 in the last 2 1/2 months what do you think is going on.

Innovation and taking risk is not part of Dell true culture. You get penalize for both. So I don't see what is wrong here. Dell is just being itself. You thrive by selling yourself hard, we thrive.

I just saw the report from NetApp wow, I guess that is were most of the business went. Pure and Nutanix are up next at the end of the month. Business is way down.
