Thread regarding DaVita Inc. layoffs

Coworker fired without a warning

My coworker was fired without warning by DaVita. Not laid off, literally fired for her first infraction (never written up before.) It was nothing big, either.

She was one of our best employees, so this makes absolutely no sense at all. I've asked around, and this is not the first occurrence like this lately at the company.

It looks suspiciously like they are trying to get rid of people without layoffs so they don't have to pay severance.

Be careful, folks!

We had a similar health partners duhvita boss lady that would raise the chair high as it go. same thing. to watch who was coming and who was going. bathroom doors, coffee room etc....then all that US corporate propaganda posters with smiling faces and yo nonsense. What a bad joke the US empire was. One must have a mental derangement to even "live" there. yo you boomers screaming those company slogans and chanting with that "leader" clowns.

One of my coworkers got fired without warning last month from Denver IT. He was a hard working and dedicated guy. Worked until 10 pm a few times. he won't be paid for extra hours (department policy ..cough..CWOW reporting..cough - contractors work extra without payment). He was micro-managed and abused to no end. The guy was fired on a Friday without warning. I learned that the manager has a track record of abusing and firing people. We call her ice-queen. Pretty sure that the comments above are from a couple of people that she destroyed (clear from re-doing of work and grading like schoolkids). All they have is a bunch of end of life cycle women involved in cat-fights, playing favorites and passive-aggressive nonsense.

Oh, they are crazy. I worked with this guy who was absolutely nuts!!! He had his chair as high as it could go so he could stare at the bathroom doors and entry doors all day long. Every time I went to the bathroom, he was watching me. When I came out of the bathroom, he was watching me. He was always watching me all day and giving me useless input. It was so creepy. It got so bad that I would not go into a room with him unless the door was wide-open.

Not only that drama, but managers re-did everyone’s work and actually graded us on it like school kids. We also were not allowed to answer questions except at 8-10 every morning and those questions and answers had to be logged in Jira. They also had a bunch of Yo Davita signs and sayings that didn’t make any real sense plastered all over the walls because some higher ups said that. They left me with an experience I’ll never forget. I seriously could not run away from there fast enough.
