Just broke 45 on the downside. Not a stellar performance at SC'17 this week, nor will the money-losing modem business move the needle.

@2ogi - Agreed, sensible analysis. However this board is full of HR paid shills, Intel pride managers and mindless drones who will quickly dismiss anyone with critical thinking abilities as a troll.

those who still think intc stock to go as high as 50, you're such happy campers who do not even know what the reality is... all surroundings now compete against Intc now; and it's going to hurt intc big time.

from cpu, amd, qcom start shipping server processors, which claims more multi-thread perf with power/density advantage, and process technology front, clearly intc 10nm is delayed so much and now it's even behind tsmc/samsung/gf... yet they would not admit until too late. so, these things already tell you what can be expected.

Funny how every single bullet in OP's post is easily demonstrated as fake news. Either OP was being sarcastic or is an HR paid shill. I strongly believe Emoji is also an HR shill or troll bot.

No matter what, BK and BS will keep manipulating the stock price through fake news, lies, propaganda and the continuous threat of cost reductions and layoffs. This is what they do, and so far they have been quite successful at it. How long will investors and analysts keep buying their bull$hit and realize that Intel has absolutely nothing new that can compete with the likes of Nvidia? They will keep milking x86 until the last day, once a one-trick pony, always a one-trick pony.

This article explains that at THE show for high-end computing, Intel mails it in. This is another reason why 50 is not in the cards.

Dream on if you think Intel stock will reach $50 a share! They would have to make a blockbuster announcement on the positive side but given their track record the past 5 years, I doubt that will happen.

Any former Intel employee that is out of Intel has won, and that is a fact. There are so many better investments and work opportunities versus Intel. Intel employees should take advantage of the current stock manipulation and cash out their RSUs though. It is not often that Intel gets a CEO like BK that is willing and able to manipulate the stock like Intel is. The rule change on accounting for assets certainly helped but the fake media and Intel fake PR helps achieve a small boost in stock price from the sheeple retain investors. This won't last for long. Good luck.

Stock jumped over 40 thanks to lot of pointless announcements (CPU, GPU, FPGA...) but there is 99% chance that most of these will fail.

To go over 50 we need some more ground breaking news.

But also might happen, that shareholders will realize that all these new "products" are pointless. Quantum computer so small, you can't even prove if it's even working. Atemp to make big GPU with absolute zero experience. Releasing FPGA that can't beat even what was on market for years, not mentioning that competitors will have 2-generations better FPGA's next year. Releasing 28nm deep learning ASIC when all big players already have it's own in-house designed solutions (Google TPU)...

Intel has hit resistance, and AMD has hit a major floor of support. NVDA is in the hands of expert manipulators and speculators, so God knows which way it is going.

The point is that in the next few weeks, AMD will give everyone a better yield, NVDA craziness and some geopolitical disaster notwithstanding.

Oh i'm so impressed with your INTC stock. It's been 17 years and all the Intel fatazz old timers are falling over dead from heart attacks waiting for this amazing moment.

The best thing about working at Intel, I am able to pretend to work while trading bitcoins!

Enjoy your 7 days per week work weeks, 24/7 on call, and your pending heart attack at 35 years old!

In the meantime I'll be partying in my bitcoin mansion. 2.4 million BUCKS.

Thanks Intel!

I WIN!
