Thread regarding US Foods Holding Corp. layoffs

Zero work life balance

Working at US Foods means pretty much kissing the idea of family life goodbye. Hours are insane!

We work six, sometimes seven days every week, and it's never just eight hours a day. Do those in charge think we are robots?

After the big layoffs from around a year ago they simply dropped the work that was being done by the people who were let go on the rest of us. I guess we should be grateful we still have a job, right?

Not to mention, I've been hearing people talk about more possible consolidations, which will only make a bad situation even worse. If they add any more to our workload, they will not need layoffs. We'll be walking out on our own.

This is true - it was rough. Spent 4 years there. Moved on, never looked back.

I am with a tech company right now and we are having major cuts.
