Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Atos customers don't see HPE as a worthy solutions provider anymore...

I've been with Atos for the last 2 years (after being kicked out by HPE). During those two years NOT A SINGLE ONE of the customers I've engaged with has adopted the HPE IT solution that has been presented to them as one of our catalog options. If this is representative of the market, I don't visualize this Company existing as a stand-alone independent public one past 2019.

The HPE Next initiative will simplify/narrow its target market to a lower category in which they will not be able to compete with the new small/mid competitors innovating in those segments. They can always buy some great companies out there, but they simply can't integrate them effectively (especially as HPE Next will get rid of 3 out of 4 current employees during the next 2 years - who can work focused in such bloodbath?). To be very honest, I have no idea how there can still be people in this Company not aggressively looking for jobs somewhere else. It's simply insane...

Meg is on an internal “media tour” to review with the employees the latest accomplishments, and promote/reassure the Company strategy. She was here in Plano last week.

She knows very well that it’s almost impossible to keep employees focused through the “HPE Next” bloodbath (3 out of 4 current employees will be kicked out in the next 2 years). She can come here everyday for the next two years and she won’t be able to convince us to stay until she feels like kicking us out... Who do these guys think they are? They think we are puppets graciously and happily awaiting to be abused whenever they want. F them!

Nvidia has already benefited from the concepts of The Machine ... The same will happen with memristor. 40 years of R&D down the drain. This company deserves to die with all the mismanagement.

Don't worry. "The Machine" will be our savior... hehehehe That's the never-ending story with HPE... We can't commercialize our own theoretical ideas (which always sound really good). Then 1-2 years later, a small niche startup takes the same (or very similar) concept, and executes gloriously - later on being acquired at a hefty premium by this crappy Company, followed by selling it 2 years later (losing tons of money) after a poor integration effort. Same story time after time... time after time... time after time...

HPE can sell out to DXC. Profitable sections will be taken over, the rest can shut shop.
