Thread regarding Comcast layoffs

No work/life balance...

Next round of layoffs should deal with certain levels of management... Why create completely unnecessary cut-throat workplace environment when things were going well before?

People are being overworked to do the point they're leaving on their own... It's like the management can't see we are losing some of our best workers because they can't stop pushing more and more work on us... Add to that pitting us against each other...

Not to mention, a number of manager simply don't know their job... I've had to train some of the new folks because their managers gave them the bare bones and threw them into the wild... If they go back to them for info, they just get a repeat message from the last time...

This is a great company, but it could be much better if it took care of its management problem...

Sounds like Comcast and Altice are using the same playbook! "Make 'em want to quit so we don't have to pay unemployment!" As far as the " you guys have it better" comment, that's not the point! The point is it's getting worse and worse every where.

Quit your whining. I just came over here from the Verizon layoff page. You guys aren’t doing so bad.
