So many problems with Meijer right now, no wonder we are having regular layoffs.
Pay is low and we are constantly understaffed. People who are getting promoted are a joke.
Knowledgeable folks are being told what to do by newcomers who are still trying to figure out how the company functions. No wonder our turnover is so high.
Senior management is lousy in figuring out how to run a company efficiently. They constantly have budget issues they are solving with layoffs.
This is neither good for the company nor employee morale, which is as bad as I have seen it in my many years with Meijer.
Considering how bad things have been going, I'm looking for a new job right now and I'd advise everybody to follow suit.
