My view of CFO BS is slowly changing. I actually think he may now be the smartest guy in the room. Let me clarify that I am horrified that Finance is now running the strategy at Intel, and I won't repeat all the other major issues from all the other threads. But BS was brought in to do a job, and he is fixing a bloated structure, one painful cut at a time. And he publicly started with his own, bloated Finance group. Walk the walk, etc.
Yes, this will have vast and chaotic repercussions across every group (and it already has), but I think I can now say that BS may be the only Executive actually succeeding at his job, as it is quantifiably defined in Intel's own inimitable manner.
