How many times can Fluor go on a hiring spree before having to turn around and lay off most of the new hires within a few months as the market goes down before the top realizes this is no way to run a company? A lot, apparently.
Not only that, things are escalating now. It used to be people who were freshly hired would be shown the door, but that's changing as well.
In the latest layoffs round we lost some of the folks who've been with the company for more than a decade. So now we all have the privilege of lacking job security.
I'd pay good money for management capable of learning from their own mistakes...
