@vew He is lying, because it's not true. That is kinda the definition of lying.
Intel org. structure is not the same as Qualcomm; if headcount is reduced it does not mean they can do better, but it will be worse. Intel's way to do projects had been put more resource, and complete asap by divide & conquer, but if the resource were cut they can't complete, so it will simply delay the completion. At this point nothing can turn the company around...it's a sinking supership.
What Intel's PR shows are mostly cakes on a paper.
Why is OP lying. If it takes company A X people to develop a product and company B takes 3X. Should the managers in company B accept the huge headcount expenses? Especially if the managers in company B used to run company A. Think about it then run to the toilet.
The Qualtrolls are so scared of their Braodcom acquisition that they make up crap like this.
if true icdg can no longer able to design chips; can't do with small size team. meaning it's marching toward death. better get off the titanic...although not sure if any other company would want to hire folks from them...
