Things are really not looking good for Bon-Ton for the next year. It looks like we are among the front-runners of retail stores that will file for bankruptcy in 2018. And bankruptcy means store closing and layoffs.
I'm sure nobody is really surprised by this, we all know the state our stores are in.

Continuing to give huge bonuses to the highest paid executives and a store leadership organization whose #1 concern is themselves, coupled with a corporate leadership group that is a combination of people who formerly made up the leadership of now defunct companies is a clear formula for bankruptcy.
Its no wonder Bonton will close stores..all they do is constantly give out gift cards just to please an upset customer. Those are the people you don't want as customers. Also they DO NOT take care of the associates..especially the ones that have stayed for the company
