I don't know about layoffs, but a lot of open reqs are being canceled now. That is usually not a sign of good things to come, and usually a precursor for layoffs.
If a Hyderabad center is opened post layoffs, Trump better have Intel under a scanner. That too with the new corporate tax rates..
