There are employees at Abbott that do not understand the concept of teamwork. In lieu of succeeding as a team, some would rather let you drown to achieve personal gain. Gossip is rampant, and expect retaliation for any constructive feedback that doesn’t conform to leadership’s views.
There are just too many Sr. managers doing absolutely nothing. Some of them prefer micromanaging instead of doing their own jobs and trusting lower management to meet company goals on their end.
The culture is very toxic, and it is difficult to focus on work while you have managers who operate by using intimidation and fear.
