Thread regarding Save Mart Supermarkets layoffs

I agree with you there a mess I’ve been their for 15years and the past 4 have been nothing but issues withholding wages forcing step downs and hour cuts This place really knows how to bring out the worst in people I use to love going to work but now I dread it seems like the harder you work for them the more they take advantage of you probably the best decision I’ve ever made is to leave that hell hole people the grass is greener on the other side their are much better Options don’t let them s— the life out of you anymore they will even s— the life out of your wallet over priced garbage selling b–ches you don’t even want to know about operations in their meat department management is in that department is a crook extending code dates putting old meat in their deep pits to cover up their shrink their are policies to follow for reasons but the meat manager only cares about his gross and doesn’t even get a bonus Canadian beef saying it’s American it’s food max beef and they charge you top prices false advertisement this place is a joke

You are owed any unused vacation you haven’t taken. You’ve earned it. It’s the law! They do that to everyone in hopes no one will pursue getting what’s owed to them. That’s how cheap they are. You can file a claim with the department of labor and they take it from there to get your money. You will also be owed up to 30 days pay for not being paid all of your earnings on your final day.
