Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

January is the decision month for Zenith

With a graduation set for this week and a week off for the holidays it's expected that each campus's student population will be reduced by 50%. It's still uncertain of how many of the remaining students will decide not to return after break, but the anticipation is high. That's why management is waiting until January to make decisions on who and how many employees will be terminated. The student population after Christmas break will determine the number of staff members that will be terminated with the Reduction in Force. There will be RIF's that take place every six weeks from here on until the final closing takes place which is planned for June 2018 at the latest. Last person out, please turn off the lights.

Bumped from @QQ0ShQq-kez for info.

It's already been announced that there will be major cuts to campus staff in January after the return from break. The number of employees let go will be determined by the student population and we won't know that until the students return.

Alot of B.S. nearly skeleton crews now. Still minor room for cuts but what's to gain by doing so? Remember ECMC is nonprofit, seriously..they are supposed to loose money and already have done so. There's no reason left to cut people when time of death is already pronounced. Go fear monger elsewhere troll. Merry Christmas.
