I would bet we start seeing layoffs starting the end of this fiscal year.

As a former employee at 1 Post in San Francisco the place was a nightmare and a working Hell hole. Getting out of there should a be giant relief to move on with your life.
You have to know it's bad when a vice president resigns. It's even further proof of their dysfunction that they've yet to announce it.
Not including the RIF two years ago which claimed eight, twenty one people have left my department including MANY stellar long-time (ie 15+ years) employees. During this same time period only four new people have been hired. Senior management is totally out of touch, giving the same repetitive slide show presentation to us multiple times and loudly proclaiming all is well, and that our turnover is well below industry norms. I have ZERO confidence in our local leadership team and am getting out before the next RIF comes.
That sounds consistent with what I've heard from RIFed employees.
Anyone know the how much pay is offered per year? On another post someone stated 2 weeks pay per year....not sure that's accurate.
Whoa, sounds like someone is bitter. Never blame an employer for terminating your position. Take it with grace and move on. You will find better
All I can say about McKesson is that it is the worst of the worst company ever! Do not even think of working for a company that does not stand by their corporate slogan ICARE. The management is the worst, and they do not care one bit. The only thing they care about is stepping over everyone to get their MIP (management incentive program = bonus).
McKesson is only good at two things. Pushing drugs AND laying off people. The worst company I have ever worked at ever ever ever ever ever!!!!! This management is pure evil!!!!! I HATE YOU MCKESSON AND ALWAYS WILL. I HATE YOU.......
@QQEncmk-ijnq: It depends. If you're in your 20s with 1 or 2 years, then sure. For emps with 10 years in, that'd be seriously stupid. Hiring managers aren't going to turn their back on someone with actual experience.
You don't work for HR, do you?
get out while you can and not take lousy severance - because a) Hiring Managers tend to hire "employed" workers. b) You are making your own decisions on your future. c) You can be more selective on offers.
Why 'get out while you can'? Force these scumbags to pay you severance AND unemployment. You've earned it!
It’s definitely happening for a lot of people this year. Get out while you can.
No chance
I don't think anyone cares anymore. We've seen it all
Happens every year in the March timeframe.
