“State Street Global Advisors: Positive View on Markets in 2018”.
Yea, except of course for US employees of State Sheet in America.
Maybe they forgot the headline of 7000 layoffs by 2020?
Sickening just sickening.
Makes me want to vomit

Even if you’re one of the fortunate few with high salary a great severance that click is ticking really loud to find a new job. It’s deafening if you’re not one of the upper few that had a huge nest egg of big income to buffer the layoff. Once again the regular ppl get screwed.
Your severance is based on the number of years and where you rank on the grade scale.
Some people get 1 week for ever year they are with the company 10 years = 10 weeks
Some people get 2 weeks for ever year , so 10 years = 20 weeks.
The extremly high ups get get 3 weeks for ever year so 10 years = 30 weeks
Image the people who been there 20 to 30 years, they will get any where from 40 weeks up to 60 weeks.
I don’t know I only ppl from other companies laid off it might depend on your tenure either way I hear iT s---s
But don't most people get a good severance when they get laid off, before unemployment is a factor?
@Anyone that tells
Yes you go on unemployment and get paid the Massachusetts state max of $550.00 a week
You then have to try and save to pay your own Federal and State taxes since they are not deducted.
As for Cobra I had to go 1 year without health insurance since I could not afford to pay Cobra $500.00 a month to have health insurance
Anyone that tells you it’s a blessing getting jays off has never been laid off.
You go on unemployment insurance. You need to apply regularly and fill in forms to prove it. You lose your insurance and pay thru the nose for cobra.
It s---s.
They aren’t kidding be grateful you have a job. Just too bad the job is killing me.
