Massive layoffs going on today with Staples/Sycamore. These corporations have no soul! Always before the holidays, but I’m sure the shareholders will have a full belly.
This was posted last week, did I miss some layoffs take place? Not that I don't believe the company would lay off people this close to Christmas, mid you. Anybody has more info on this?
Are account consultants part of this?

Marketing being restructured now. Announcement of marketing analytics exec oust and replacement first thing this morning with more to come this month.
Furniture team still alive, kicking thanks to Inside slave I mean Inside Furniture Team.They won't get rid of the insiders since the hunch is they will dump it all on them Lucky them I suppose.

Furniture sales force was RESTRUCTURED, not ELIMINATED???* Tell that to all of us restructured folks updating our resumes and LinkedIn accounts!
And like every other department and team that has been "restructured" thus far in this process, it is the beginning of the end. More "restructuring" is sure to follow that will lead to "elimination" should the current management modus operandi hold true to form.
Salesforce was restructured not eliminated.

700 is indeed coming in January at corporate offices, but 700 non-corporate office employees, mainly outside account consultant and supporting employees, Staples Promotional Products employees, and other various department employees were laid off within the past month.
I think the 700 is coming in Jan. I'm confused.
