I’ve been here for over a year. The opportunity for individuals who deserve to advance within Viacom is rare. Managers have been known to hinder growth of their employees for their own self-interest and create competition for positions which causes insecurity and mistrust in the work field.
There are also managers with terrible attitudes who have very little training in their position.
Most importantly, starting pay isn’t great, people are undervalued and employees tend to get lost in the shuffle for a company as huge as this. Employees are dispensable and terminated due to organization restructuring which occurs all to often.
Starting to regret my decision to join the company.
