I worked for Jacob’s and their mantra that people are their greatest asset is so far removed from reality it’s not funny. We were constantly pressured to increase our billable work yet the tools needed to function day to day and increase productivity were outdated.Their greatest asset is profit and the more profit this company made the more it felt like we were just worker bees.

Benefits were lousy and there were little to no bonuses for those who deserved it that provided superior results. There was no training or any kind of support from leadership to be able to grow and expand knowledge and experience. Practice what is preached because your people are what makes your company grow.

Jacobs has also begun laying off CH2M legacy staff all the while maintaining they are hiring. More jobs sent to India and Poland.

I've been with jacobs for 17 years and now,facing being let go... all our work has,been outsourced to india they are firing for trumped up charges because they can't layoff because of stock market and wall street finding out... they are firing and forcing retirement and replacing with ch2m hill employees... if the government or wall street or media would investigate their practices, it would make their heads spin.. they cook their books every quarter to raise their cash on hand to look good.
