Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

How many products could you fund with $750 mil

Citrix needs your ideas. They don’t have any. All Citrix can think about is closing buildings and buying back stock. They are in Santa Clara the center of innovation in the whole world and they don’t have one single idea for growth. $750 million and not one innovative idea of how to spend it. Stock buy back. This is what losers do with their money. Winners build new products and take market share. Help Citrix out. Give them a clue. They need one.

God pray citrix would lay me off and give a real Christmas bonus. This slow decline into mediocrity and being the laughing stock of the industry is humiliating.

RC hasn't done too badly either. Since 12/31/2015 he has acquired stock worth $13+ million, sold stock worth $16+ million and currently has stock worth $15+ million. Not bad for coming to a few meetings.

According to NASDAQ since 12/15/2015 DH has acquired stock worth $15+ million, sold stock worth $17+ million and currently has stock worth $25+ million. Maybe Citrix management aren't losers, just the company and the employees are. http://www.nasdaq.com/quotes/insiders/henshall-david-j-399767

Citrix currently have very innovative FM ideas. Citrix buy backs stock while insiders sale stock. Imagine where Citrix cash goes. Check http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/ctxs/insider-trades.

Find a way of hosting stuff cheaply or at least cost effectively, in the cloud rather than just brokering it from there. I mean, which company ever complained about having to put a pair of delivery controllers in their data center?

But the dozens of hosting servers, switches, and storage? Now companies would love to get rid of that and the associated costs. Citrix just fixed a problem that never was with Citrix Cloud.

The EM vultures are in the driver seat, period. Doesn’t really matter what ideas or innovative thinking employees may come up with. All about the shareholder value now.

Most startups wouldn't need a fraction of that money to develop & launch a product.

How about a file sharing service?
