Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Write to the Board of Directors about layoffs

I think in light of the layoffs, its time to write to DST's board of directors. Its clear that DST is in business to benefit stockholders, but maybe more, to benefit top executives. The average worker at DST is not aware that top execs have made hundreds of millions of dollars in stock options GIVEN to them by the board. People such as Joan Horan, an H.R. director that at other companies may make 200K a year and a 10% bonus - well she has made 100 million dollars in options basically handed to her as a gift. Others like Bob Tritt given almost $1,000,000. as he left. These people were earning 70K back in 1987. The top execs get huge amounts of money and don't face any layoff threat. While the average worker is always at threat over what, a 40k salary? If 40k is really that precious to DST them why give millions to execs? Tom M. started the company, but does that mean he deserves a billion in wealth? Couldn't DST have just paid him an executive salary? Really think he would have left DST or KC if the board told him he would get the same salary as an executive at American Century? Layoffs seem phony as a money saving device when billions are given by the board to top execs that work 12 hour days just like us.

Careful with names here, that’s against the site rules. I mentioned a coworker few months ago, and site admins nuked my posts and blocked my IP. I use proxy now, but it’s super slow. I don’t think that rule applies to naming C-suites, cause they are public figures, but I’ve would stay out of it, just in case.

This has been known the top paid employees fewer then 30 members make more then 3 thousand average employees combined. This is known and ignored by the board of directors. This is by no means putting stock holders first but is allowed to carry on putting the companies future growth at risk and nothing will stop it.
