Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Take a look at this email we received exactly a year ago today.

We are excited to announce today the formation of AItice Technical Services US. (ATS), a new company created to deliver best-in-class technical expertise and customer service. ATS will provide AItice USA with the support and expertise required as we accelerate our investments in our networks and customer experience.

Last week we announced our vision to lead a new digital era powered by our cutting edge technologies and a next-generation fiber network. Generation Gigaspeed is not just about ultra-high speeds and deploying fiber across our footprint, it lays the foundation that will ultimately re-invent the industry and bring a new, unprecedented experience to consumers and businesses.

In just a few short months, we have already delivered dramatic broadband speed improvements to our Optimum customer base and continue to roll out leps speeds in the Suddenlink footprint. And to continue that market re-invention we will introduce our unique all-in-one home entertainment and connectivity experience. All of which will be designed to take advantage of our new fiber-to-the-home network.

ATS will be instrumental to achieving our vision. Singularly focused on end-to-end technical service delivery, the company will work in partnership with AItice USA to deliver an industry- Ieading experience within the connectivity environment. Specifically, ATS will focus on network design, engineering and construction, inside and outside plant maintenance and field service. This will allow AItice USA to focus on innovation and investment in order to deliver market-leading products and services.

AItice USA employees from Field Service, Construction & Fiber, Design, Outside Plant Maintenance, Inside Plant, and our field-based employees servicing our commercial accounts, will have the opportunity to become founding members of ATS, a company built around them — their experiences, their skills and their growth. As a result, they will have the chance to learn new technologies and build more advanced skills that bring even greater long-term career opportunities. And they will work alongside familiar leaders from both Optimum and Suddenlink operations, as well as AItice, who have already signed on. We will be communicating with these employees over the coming days and weeks with more detailed information.

We will continue to update all of our employees on the progress of Generation Gigaspeed and ATS as we get started in the new year. We're very excited to begin this new chapter in our journey to revolutionize our customer experience.
