Bill Ruh sounds drunk -- keeps saying things are "uncertain" and how hard that is for everyone. That's not the issue--the issue is that the leaders have looted the company and made poor decisions so we now need to be laid off. Bill Ruh should go because he is one of the ones who failed.

Both internally and externally it is widely known that Bill Ruh is not the right guy for the job. The fact that he is still in the role is mind boggling. At the sales kickoff last year we had an over/under pool of when he’d get replaced. Nobody thought he’d make it through Q2. He must have compromising photos of someone in the upper echelons of HR. There is no other explanation.
It’s all according to plan. :0)
lol at the Ben McADoo comment. They are both your goofy drunk uncle who makes the holidays awkward and funny. I’m not sure I ever saw a BR all hands where everything went smoothly. He always effed up telepresence or talked about hugging people or awkwardly tried to fill space while someone couldn’t move the TP primary. And that was our leader! lol, bring Eli Manning in, he would fix it
He reminds me of Ben McAdoo.
I just listened to the recording. BR is NOT a motivational speaker. Nor is he inspirational. Listening to that idiot makes me feel good that I got laid off. This guy is going to single handedly kill GE.
ge digital will disappear in a few years or sooner than that. No use for it at GE.
BR has already made his money skimming $$ from work with vendors ... still he needs to be kicked out to prevent further damage ... what happened to perform or else which was a ge hallmark ... not sure how deep and wide the corruption runs ... which may explain why he has not been fired ... yet
Flannery's big test is recognizing how little faith the people left at Digital have in Bill Ruh's leadership, and then kicking him to the curb. What a chump.
Priceless answer to the highly touted "top 10 software company" in the next 5 years goal:
Oh, I think we are one already..but now we don't really want to call ourselves that.
Huh?
I liked how the lady had to stifle a laugh talking about the "laughable" benefits level... But I can't say that GE's benefits are at all competitive with other companies. I had to negotiate with GE to give me more money to cover the difference in the healthcare benefit from my old company to GE.
What the hell that Cisco/Chambers story was about? We will get thru this? These folks don't know how to inspire people. And stop thinking of GE as software company.
Giving us a story about the old boys club patting each other on the back about pulling out of a downturn. Where did the cash go? I'd like to know that.
BRuh promoting GE4GE strategy - we cannot sell this sh*t to anyone sane, so we are going to force our own poor GE business units to buy it instead. Lolol. And the CEO is just standing and letting this bs fly. The basic sanity check - the market - is totally removed from equation. Applause.
