Been here 7 years, just started looking around. I hear that there will be some layoffs today and some next week, mostly nonessential levels of management. This place started to change when Potter left and went to sh-- when Gremp walked out the door. This has become a side show.

It's a slow drip blood bath with accelerating numbers to come. It's so ugly when you see who stays and who goes. It's an over the hill frat house determining who stays. I heard Technip got hit last week at Energy Towers but it's very clear the French are in control.
I got cut this week. From Generation Park aka, Gremp Campus. One of those, " non-essential management" types you mentioned. My work was pretty essential. But I digress. 4 years, lots of major accomplishments, savings. blah, blah, blah but to the new French management, all pales to the importance of cutting costs - with extreme prejudice. Nothing else matters. Show some heart and at least wait 'till after the holidays? No way! I can capture the costs this year and bag my bonus! Do I care that work won't get done, and the business ultimately suffers? No way, baby! I got to cut, cut, cut to satisfy the Street! I'll worry about the results later.
