This must have crossed Jensen's mind already. They can spin off RTG and give it to Intel as a consolation prize in order to have some weak competition. Very much like Intel kept a struggling AMD on life support for many years. Would def. feel like poetic justice.

@hjp - If AMD spun off RTG as OP suggests, this could be a real possibility. Not less likely than a Broadcom-Qualcomm deal.
