Is this the start of a shake-up? Should we expect any other changes in graphics leadership?

What will happen to other bunglers in VPG now?
@2luf - I stand corrected on the CA non-compete.
Still a swarm of curiously-timed announcements, so there is an interesting tale we don't know.

Non-competes are not legal in CA, so... no.
There are too many related stories this week with AMD, Intel, Apple, etc. RK likely would have had a non-compete, which means AMD would have given the OK in exchange for something. Or, they are breathing a sigh of relief. But it's one of the two.
All useless VPG management should get perp walked.
Any ones of vpg managers to be sacked or made redundant by amd grfx teams management?
Vpg needs to shutdown
Are you kidding @yhj? Hundreds of people kicked out during and after ACT, as well as significant numbers who transferred out to other groups. At least in HW area, you wouldn't recognize half of the team compared to two years ago.
Dead meat competitively, but no significant reductions in staff or management beyond the departure of UppiDogg (2 years ago?). This should be interesting.
VPG has been dead meat for at least two years.
Short of buying RTG wholesale, nothing would save Intel in the graphics area now.
RK is just another fakely hyped-up, phony, power-hungry reject from a competitor. Very much like Fatso. The two should get along just fine.
