Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Jay Hooley to retire by end of 2018 YEAH YEAH

Will we finally get a real CEO able to bring the company back to its glory days ?

Will it end the yearly layoffs going on since 2007 ???

Will it mean they might actually hire American workers ????

Well we can dream about getting a CEO with the drive to make the company profitable through business and not yearly layoffs

Here’s the real reason who does this sound like? It’s normally disguised by democratic rhetoric but in China this is what

President Xi has to say:

“In pursuing wcinc globalization we should make it more open, more inclusive, more balanced, more equitable and more beneficial to all”

Translation, communism , parity, end of capitalism, supply side economics, in other word the US workers has zero chance of surviving.

Take a look in the mirror and kiss your way of life and quality of life bye-bye!

Communism has been infiltrating our country via Hollywood seductively and surreptitiously and it’s been indoctrinated I’m publuc schools, brilliant!

A coup without a battle!

Signing off folks, soon these types of sites will be ridden from our computers.

George Orwell was correct the lie told many times becomes history and the truth. (Sic)

The optimist in me is thinking of the scene from The Wizard of Oz and things turn happy at the end...

But we all know that’s just pretend and typically things only go from bad to worse.

IBM

HP

Yahoo

Intel

Radio shack

Macy’s

Mbta

The streets are littered with companies trying to fix the broken model...,just not happening.

Hope I’m wrong

Folks, nothing is going to change.

Our lives/jobs will still be on the edge of constant layoffs and outsourcing.

It is too late here. Keep your skills sharp, work on your resume, and hope it’s not your number pulled out of the hat this week.

Remember, I’ve said it before, musical chairs...never ends well, except for the one left with chair. And in this case stuck with correcting the outsourced work.

We can only hope we aren’t going from the fire to the frying pan.

There are very few quality ceos out there the vast majority are just well connected hacks. The loser from radio shack went to market basket he got dumped and went to lands end they go from one platinum parachute to the next wreaking havoc destruction and h. E ll for the employees in their wake

It would be nice to dream someone with intellect the ability to grow a company other than through attrition of layoffs fears will be the next one. But yes too little too late this clipper ship has sunk I fear. You can bet ol J isn’t worried about his next meal for the next thirty years.

Sorry but SSC hasn't had a decent productive CEO since the mid 1990's

Most of the CEO's have been bean counters who believe in cut cut cut cut and not grow the

business

No, no and no.

Is that because SSC is evil? No.

It is because they have to to remain competitive because all SSC competitors are engaged in the exact same process.
