Put 16 yrs in just for them to push us leads out and didn’t if let us step down to a lesser job. It hit my house twice all at the same time. Best day of my life and a blessing in disguise. I will feel for some of the associates in Ohio if they close but at this point you burnt us and I could care less about staples.

I've been there and a toxic job still pays the bills. If you're unhappy enough, you can find another job while still working. While sarcasm isn't always appreciated, especially when someone loses their job, being unemployed and not knowing how your next mortgage payment or month's rent will be made is definitely worse than a toxic job.
A toxic job is worse than no job. And maybe this was the catalyst to getting a better source of income than with Staples. If you don't know someone's personal situation, I find it amazing that you still decide to comment as if your assumptions were fact.
Yes, I'm sure life is much better for you now that you have no job or income. That immediate relief you feel is soon replaced by the dawning realization that you have no money to pay your bills or buy food.
But because I said this, I'm sure you will feel compelled to come back and tell us all that you're independently wealthy and didn't need the job anyway, or that you landed another within 24 hours of losing this one.
And we'll all nod and smile if it makes you feel better,
