I agree with the comment about Henry Becton, he was the heart and soul of BD. I after 30+ years decided to leave BD this past August. I had had enough of the age discrimination toward many loyal older employees. I was tired of seeing young, I know more then you, associates being promoted rather then the more experienced older employee. I can tell you this, there are better opportunities outside of BD. I am now working for a small medical device company, making more money, better benefits and being appreciated for my knowledge and experience. Hang in there.........opportunity will be knocking at your door soon!
I got cut at 17. Even had lots of awards. Including 3 that few associates ever get in their entire career. You will be better off in the end. The company has lost their soul. Better off elsewhere.
Hopefully all the overpaid H1B scabs will be let go. That's the only way BD can be become an innovative company again.
I got let go about 9 years ago. Franklin Lakes. Worked there 18 years
Worst part is being escorted out by security, and everyone is looking at you
Made you feel like an actual criminal
Without knowing where you're located and what you do , this forum is useless. BD is a huge company with many arms. IT jobs went away after the merger due to outsourcing. Granted with the Bard merger on its way I'm sure more cuts are due.
Good luck going forward. Henry Becton must be rolling in his grave seeing what is going on in this company today.
So sorry
same...
+1
god speed
I'm so sorry you are going thru this.
