So now Qualcomm claims with zero proof that Apple gave Qualcomm’s secrets to Intel. Made up out of thin air. It‘s a great source of amusement for all Intel people who have been working with Apple and who didn‘t get any kind of competitor info (and who frankly didn‘t want any). My theory is that Qualcomm hopes that Apple will shy away from this lawsuit, because they would have to subpoena Intel engineers, which means they would have to make public how they have been interacting with Intel.
So this just shows again how petty Qualcomm is. Not that anyone working in mobile actually needed any further proof. But it really helps to publicize this image beyond our technological niche.
Qualcomm is basically what Microsoft was in the 90‘s. The kind of company where you wonder „Who would actually work for them?!?“ Well, we all know what kind of people. People who would basically do anything and work anywhere for money. And that just reinforces that company culture of arrogance and pettiness.
