This is not possible without HOP 's blessing. HOP management too appears to be involved.
Awards and promotions are funny. All VIPs and close aides get Platinum/Gold awards in Q2, which is followed by promotion. This is so damn predictable. This can be easily verified.
Platinum award for people leadership has been given to the person with lowest Tell Dell score and HR case on ethics. This again can be verified.

I work in DC and internal news is that this fake project is bound fail no matter what.

It appears wrong hiring was done. Instead of hiring an Admin your management has hired a Senior Program Manager. Maybe HOP will correct this mistake.

idiots. VIPs are very important. They look at the powerpoint and say with the most royal british accent to make the red numbers smaller. They contribute a lot with their unmatched intellectual prowess.

Waiting for that "Good Day" to comes. We have at least 5 useless VIPs (2 super directors and 2 super techies, 1 super program manager) now. Not to forget, many VIPs are in the making. These are the ones who got promoted on the basis of their ability to lick as, cck, by existing VIPs to take their place when they get fired.
Time for fake projects and people is over..tick tock.
Not to forget... There is a Senior Engineering Program Manager... taking care of seating, lighting, floor management, admin management, bullying people. No wonder they call him bouncer... sniper.

it appears that team hates them. They have lost all respect. Engineers and colleagues have distanced themselves from them in a hope that they will quit on their own.. few colleagues are moving to different floor. They don't want to be seen near these people.
Probably not: Bangalore is a low cost center. Firing a few incompetent executives will have no impact on the ordinary IC.
