Ongoing incremental synergy capture in Q4

As stated in today’s press release.

In Al-speak, that means more layoffs and more cutbacks to salaries, pensions and benefits, as there simply are no other ways to meet the synergy targets.

With its massive debt load, this is a company running scared.

Management will expect you (well, most of you) to do your part to keep the company afloat.

@Q3ffgUp-1gua. If you were not a troll then Put The Kool-aid Down. If you believe half the nonsense you wrote all hope is lost. To "pull in the same direction" a rightful direction must first be evident. Society is not won through "brilliant marketing". It is demonstrated by being proper neighbors, caretakers of the environment, and a just employer. Not hiding evidence from the government is also advised.

I'm not sure if the post by @Q3ffgUp-1gua is a former employee trolling or an ELT member, but if it is an ELT member then the whole reason employee morale is low is this thinking: 'ungrateful employees'. This company has gone through two years of constant job threats, layoffs, pay cuts, pension cuts, time off cuts, and with little to nothing done to help actual employee morale. Even trying to get something as simple as team building approved is difficult.

I think a lot of employees are apathetic to it all now and just making it through the day to day. It's unfortunate how quickly the dynamic within this company has changed, and I hope they can right the ship soon.

He shouldn't have to take a paycut. He is working himself to the bone to create the energy future we need. All you ungrateful employees think we are villains but you don't know the effort we put in to blend 2 companies, create brilliant marketing campaigns to win society over, and motivational strategies for the Enbridge family. You should focus your energy in pulling the same direction as your ELT instead of against. We are all on the same team here.
