For normal broadcom employee, I doubt it will change anything at all. HQ can move in and out based on changing tax structure or political climate. When it suit broadcom, it will move away again.
May be Singapore increased taxes or stopped tax breaks. There was rumor that HQ will be moved to Malaysia. But now it appears it would be US. Good for US; bad for Singapore. May not make that big a difference though !!
