Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

It’s not just KR. Some managers, directors and VPs have also become sick in the head and are gleefully sniffing out employees they want to fire. Mostly the ones who give them grief by asking the wrong questions. Everything is shrouded in secrecy, though, so you can never be sure. And the employee meetings take on a sickeningly sweet tone as if everything is OK.

Then you read media reports about Enbridge’s dishonesty to public officials about pipeline safety. So much is hidden and secret.

I feel like i’m living in a horror movie.

KR is now a Stepford Wife, pretending that everything is happy and healthy. Underneath the veneer, she wields a gun aimed at the head of any employee that fits the profile, and forcing the managers to go along with the charade until the employee in question can be swiftly dealt with. All other employees have been told to concentrate on their work and to ignore any distractions.

The dishonesty has killed the culture and is giving me an ulcer. I used to cry but am now numb most of the time now. I don’t believe anything this company says anymore. They lie about everything.

To those of you who can get out, run. Life is too short for this.

I used to be angry, now am just scared. Management is fake-happy. They smile as they lie to my face. At any moment I feel like I could jump out of my skin. I know my head is on the chopping block. I can’t trust anyone.
