I live near Paducah. I heard from a Paducah realtor yesterday, that the Paducah store was closing. He did not volunteer who he heard it from. May or may not be true? Thought I would post it anyway. Goodluck to all those who work there.

The realtor really knew something or was just an educated guesser? My sympathy to all those affected employees.
Paducah will be one of very few Kmarts left in KY. According to Kmart's website, they have stores in Erlanger, Grayson, Russell Springs, and Somerset that I haven't seen on a closing list.
I was just in the Paducah store. I spoke with a sales clerk and asked what they thought of the closing list. They said that they might be the only K-mart left in KY. They also told me about a store in MO that is closing but not on the list.
Glasgow, Versailles, Cookeville, Franklin are of a few of the closures announced today. Tenn and KY.

With the "stealth" closures of other Kmarts lately, I'd lean it towards the truth for sure.
